It came in with the tide and forgot to leave.
This pendant is tall and narrow, a long oval of clear resin with a frame that looks less placed than grown — gold that pooled and set at the edges the way wax does, or shoreline foam, or something that simply decided this was where it belonged. Inside: a single shell, a single mushroom, and a drift of seaweed. Sea and forest, sharing a very small space, unbothered.
The whole thing hangs just over an inch tall on a 20" adjustable gold-tone chain, which gives it room to move the way drifting things should. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
