Acorn of the Tiny Keeper

This acorn holds a tiny world, and at the center of it is a small green fairy with handmade wings. She stands beside a miniature mushroom and a curled snail shell, each one held in place by clear resin that settles over the scene like still water. The acorn cap becomes the frame, warm and textured, turning the whole piece into a quiet story from the forest floor.

The fairy is the first thing you notice, but the mushroom and shell give her company, a little trio that feels like it belongs together. The resin keeps everything close, so you can look as long as you want. It hangs on an eighteen inch gold tone chain and rests just below the collarbone, gentle and steady.

From my studio, part of the Hidden Glen series, where the woods keep their secrets and the resin keeps them close. This acorn is one of several in the series, each with its own tiny world, but this one belongs to the keeper. Once it is gone, it is gone.
