I have always been a creature of intuition, pulled toward the unseen and the quietly powerful. Rediscovering myself in my 40s has felt less like reinvention and more like remembering. I am learning to trust the part of me that listens before it speaks, the part that notices what others overlook, the part that has always known where I belong. Beauty Undiscovered is the place where that remembering takes shape.
My connection to Colorado runs deeper than the years I have lived here. My Scottish ancestors settled just south of where I am now in the 1800s, and my grandmother was born in Nunn. I did not grow up knowing any of that, but the land remembered me anyway. When I returned, it felt like recognition, like something older than memory pulling me back into place.
I understand energy in the same way most people understand weather. You feel it before you see it. You sense the shift in a room before anyone speaks. Certain objects feel alive with memory. A person’s presence has a signature you can recognize before you know their name. Some call it intuition. Some call it resonance. Some call it spirit or frequency. I call it listening. It is the quiet skill that guides my work.
My relationship with the divine is similar. I have not turned my back on God. I have turned my back on the versions of God that humans have used to control or divide. Every culture has a name for the divine. Every tradition has its stories. But the divine itself is larger than any one book or rule. I experience it in the land, in the body, in the subtle currents that move through everything. I experience it in the act of making. I experience it in the quiet.
I create handmade jewelry and original art inspired by nature, the cosmos, and the unseen energies that move through the world. My pieces are shaped by intuition and by listening. Listening to the world around me. Listening to the materials in my hands. Listening to the small signals that guide a design. My digital art grows from my own drawings and photographs, layered into new compositions that feel like tiny worlds. Each one is a small discovery.
My values are simple.

I care about the quiet details because that is where meaning lives.

Meet Onyx
Every great creative has a muse. Mine has green gold eyes, a patent leather black coat, and absolutely no interest in being told what to do.
Onyx is the spirit behind the art that bears her name. A quiet, watchful presence who has a way of sitting exactly where she should not and looking exactly like she belongs there. She is, in many ways, a perfect reflection of this studio. A little mysterious. A little intense. Impossible to ignore once you have noticed her.
She approves of all the art. She has made that very clear. She is also smoochable. I cannot resist. She pretends to hate this. She does not.
