It was a spoon once. Now it holds something better.
The handle of a vintage spoon forms the frame of this pendant, its bowl filled with resin and packed with crushed teal and iridescent material that shifts and catches the light the way something underwater does. Two small mushrooms rise up through the shimmer, gold-tone setting, the whole thing suspended on an 18" adjustable chain. It is a piece that rewards a second look, and a third.
This pendant has a sister, filled with moss instead of shimmer, for those who prefer the forest to the light. From my studio, part of the Vintage Glen series, where old things find their way into new arrangements. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
