Inside the shell, there is another shell. And inside that, a whole small world.
This pendant is a natural shell set in silver tone and filled with resin. Tucked inside: two tiny mushrooms sprouting from a miniature shell, a wisp of simulated seaweed curling around them, and a silver-tone moon and stars pressed into the background like a night sky that decided to move indoors. It does not glow the way some shells do. It does something quieter, holding its scene still and complete, the kind of piece you keep finding new things in.
From my studio, part of the Seaside Glen series, where the glen meets the tide and the stars are always closer than expected. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
