It was a spoon once. Now it holds something better.
The handle of a vintage spoon forms the frame of this pendant, its bowl filled with resin and layered with preserved moss, tiny purple flowers, and iridescent bubbles that catch the light from somewhere inside the dark. One small mushroom rises through it all, quiet and certain. The gold-tone setting holds everything in place, the whole thing suspended on an 18" adjustable chain.
This pendant has a sister, filled with crushed teal shimmer instead of moss, for those who prefer the light to the forest. From my studio, part of the Vintage Glen series, where old things find their way into new arrangements. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
