A link from a vintage chain became a frame. The frame became a garden.
This pendant is built inside an oval bezel formed from a repurposed vintage chain link, filled with resin over a teal background. Inside: a small coral shell and two cream flowers blooming up from it, the whole scene warm and unhurried against the blue-green ground. The gold-tone setting is simple and lets the interior do the talking. It is a lighter piece than most, the kind that feels like early summer.
From my studio, part of the Vintage Glen series, where old things find their way into new arrangements and the flowers always know where to grow. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
