The tide doesn't sort by color, but sometimes it gets it right. This teardrop pendant holds a small gathering of peachy-pink shells and a single spiral snail shell at its base, all pressed into gold-flecked resin that catches the light like wet sand at golden hour. The shape is soft, almost egg-like, the kind of form that feels deliberate even when it isn't.
It's a quiet piece. Not loud about what it is. It hangs on an 18" adjustable chain and sits close to the chest, warm-toned and unhurried, the kind of thing you reach for when you want to feel like you brought a little of the shoreline with you.
From my studio, part of the Seaside Glen series, where the water does the curating and the resin just holds it still. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
