This pendant holds a hand painted teal scene inside a gold rectangular frame, the kind of frame that makes everything inside it feel like it was always meant to be preserved. Peach blooms reach upward on long stems. White mushrooms rise quietly from the mossy floor below. The resin seals it all in, still and permanent. The chain is adjustable, so it finds its place. Once it's gone, it's gone.
