The path didn't announce itself. It just appeared, the way glen paths do — pebble by pebble, quiet and certain.
This pendant holds a small world inside a teardrop of resin: two tiny mushrooms rising from a warm copper flake background, a pair of smooth pebbles resting at their base like they've always been there. The copper catches light the way forest floors do in late afternoon — amber, warm, a little secret. The whole thing is just under three-quarters of an inch tall, which is exactly the right size for something you carry without explaining.
It hangs on an 18" adjustable gold-tone chain, so it settles where it wants to. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
