Some wings were never meant to carry a creature. They were meant to carry a secret.
This pendant is built inside a large vintage-style link, filled with resin over a hand-painted fairy wing rendered in deep blue and black. The colors shift depending on the light, the way a real wing does when you catch it at the right angle in a forest clearing. It is the kind of thing you find pressed between the pages of a book that belonged to someone who knew where to look.
From my studio, part of the Hidden Glen series, where the boundary between the ordinary and the otherworldly is thinner than it appears. The wing measures approximately 2.5 inches in length and hangs from a silver chain that adjusts to 20 inches, so it settles exactly where it wants to.
As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
