There is something about a rose preserved behind glass that refuses to feel sad. This piece holds a vintage rose, framed inside the bezel windows of a necklace that once lived on someone else. The windows, the frames, the beads along the chain, all of it reclaimed, all of it carried forward. The resin keeps the petals still. The silver keeps the shape. What you wear is a small act of continuation.
The drop is architectural in the quiet way old things can be. A larger round window at the center holding the bloom, rose leaves framed above it. And below, a ringed bead orbiting a faceted crystal that catches light and throws it back. The whole thing moves the way something meaningful moves, with intention, with weight, with a little gravity.
From my studio, part of the Vintage Glen series, where what was worn before finds a new chapter. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it is gone, it is gone.
