The tide does not ask permission. It takes what it wants, shapes what it finds, and occasionally leaves something behind that has no business being as beautiful as it is.
This pendant is a real seashell, worn but kept whole, its interior a natural lavender and mauve that no dye could replicate because the shell made those colors itself over a long time in the water. Inside it, sealed under clear resin: white mushrooms and a tuft of preserved green moss, a small glen that decided the shore was close enough. Two starburst details catch the light at the edges. The bail is silver-tone, the chain is a fine silver-tone cable with a lobster clasp and extender, adjustable to 20". As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
