This pendant is round and small, just under half an inch across, set inside a gold hammered bezel that catches light the way wet sand does at noon. Inside: a tangle of seaweed and three tiny shells, arranged the way the ocean arranges things — without asking, and perfectly. The hammered gold gives it weight and warmth, like something pulled from a king's own shoreline and worn without ceremony.
It hangs on an 18" adjustable gold-tone chain, so it finds its place on you. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
