The snail has always known something the rest of us are still figuring out: home is not a place. It is a thing you carry.
This pendant was made from a reclaimed vintage earring, its ribbed gold-tone ring frame now holding a clear resin world inside it. Two small white mushrooms grow from the base, and a dark snail shell rests beside them, all of it sealed under resin and visible from both sides. The piece is double-sided, which means it has no wrong way to wear it. The chain is a fine gold-tone cable with a lobster clasp and extender, so it finds its length at 16", adjustable. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
