It depends on which way you turn it.
One side: a natural shell, blush and warm, the color the sky goes just before it decides to be night. The other: two tiny mushrooms and a bed of moss, tucked inside the shell's curve like they've been there since before you found it. Both sides are real. Both sides are the point. A twisted gold frame holds the whole thing together, open and architectural, letting the light through, and the piece hangs just over an inch tall on an 18" adjustable gold-tone chain.
This is a reversible pendant, which means it has two moods and you get to choose. Or let it choose. It tends to know. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
