Some things are not made so much as gathered. Pulled from separate drawers, separate centuries, and pressed together under glass until they decide to become one thing.
This pendant holds a world of ricepaper and black resin inside a brass round bezel, cool on the skin and weighty. Two small mushrooms rise from the surface, surrounded by scattered flakes of silver, copper, and brass that catch the light differently depending on where you are standing. The chain is a fine silver-tone cable, delicate against the substantial pendant, with a lobster clasp and extender so it finds its length at 16", adjustable. As with all pieces, this one is one of a kind. Once it's gone, it's gone.
